Final Piece - Death and Discord

This image is in response to the theme of death and discord, I researched several artists who had touched upon this theme in their work, these included Rene Magritte and Edward Munch. Their work was what inspired me most when creating a final piece incorporating surrealist layouts and symbolism through colours and poses. I used an image i had painted for a response to Munch's work and layered it over one of his own compositions, as if i was adding a new character to the scene. I used the same pallet of colours and added a fill layer and filter to emphasize the greens I had chosen.
